Here are some frequently asked questions.
GAME FORMAT:
Five Star Soccer Academy is a "Non Boarded" facility re-turfed for the 2018 season. The main field is a huge 200' x 96'
U6 and U8 will play 5 v 5 on a divided field (4 outfielders and a keeper)
U10 will play 7 v 7 on a 3/4 field (6 outfielders and a keeper)
U12, U14, U16, U18 will play 7 v 7 (6 outfielders and a keeper)
Adult COED will also play 7 v 7 with modified rules. (The COED rules will state that each team must have 2 "outfield" players of each gender on the field, this does not include the goalkeeper
UNIFORMS:
All Teams MUST wear a "TEAM" color. We suggest each team has an alternate shirt at Five Star DO NOT provide pinnies.
Unfortunately we will no longer allow ANY cleats on the field, we will accept non-studded TURF shoes, INDOOR soccer shoes or Sneakers.

Question: Can a player from Connecticut play at Five Star Soccer Academy.
Answer: Of course.
Question: Can a player wear cleats?
Answer: NO. Indoor turfs, flats and sneakers are acceptable
Question: Can a player be rostered on 2 or more teams?
Answer: Not in the same age group unless they are on a "split team"
Question: Does Five Star provide pinnies if both teams are wearing the same color jersey?
Answer: No. it is the responsibility of the home team to change or provide pinnies
Question: Can a girl play on a boys team?
Answer: Yes, if age eligible.
